Graduated in Law cum laude in 1984 at Messina University. Assistant of the Professor of civil, Corporate and bankruptcy law and trained in American and German universities.
Enrolled in the Register of Lawyers since 1986 and qualified to represent before the Supreme Court since 1994.
Expertise:
Professor in bankruptcy law since 1998 and in Corporate law since 2000 in the Law University of Messina.
Practitioner of contracts, Corporate law and bankruptcy procedures. Author of various books and essays on Corporate law and Corporate bankruptcy procedures on leading journals (Riv. soc., Giur. comm., Riv. dir. comm., Banca, borsa, RDS, and in various authors anthologies). Speaker in many seminars.
Co-director of the journal “Rivista di diritto societario” (Giappichelli) since 2009 and of “Il diritto fallimentare e delle società commerciali” (Cedam) since 2006.
Member of the Corporate Study Commission of the national steering committee of the Italian public notaries from 2005 until 2013. Member of the Ministerial commission for reforming the bankruptcy law in 2004. Member of the Ministerial Commission for reforming the public sector companies in 2015.
